MR ROGER MARWOOD MBBS MSc. F.R.C.O.G is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London. He has 40 years experience working in a busy NHS hospital and has personally supervised around 20 000 pregnancies and countless deliveries. He is a past president of the Royal Society of Medicine and has worked extensively for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

We are proud to support the MOMS Appeal which is raising money to help fund the training of midwives and obstetricians in third world countries, especially Ethiopia.

Roger recently led a team of Midwives and Doctors from Chelsea and Westminster Hospital to a rural part of Ethiopia to provide much needed training in emergency maternity care where 1 in 21 women die in pregnancy and childbirth.
