Prolapse – baby 7 weeks old.

I had my baby 7 weeks ago and have noticed a prolapse (possibly bladder & bowel) which protrudes slightly at times.  I have an appointment with my ob/gyn but would like your opinion on whether there is likely to be some improvement with time & when I stop breastfeeding.  Or am I looking at surgery? Round Ligament Pain at 29 weeks.

I hope you can help. I had awful pain yesterday on my right side of my bump near my hip. I think it was round ligament pain. The pain was so bad I cried but I lied down for a bit and it calmed down (I was also having braxton hicks). I read up today that you don’t usually get RLP in the 3rd trimester but I find that hard to believe. I Wet myself when I sneeze or cough! Help!

I am 24 weeks pregnant and every time I sneeze or cough I wet myself. What can I do?  This is called stress incontinence and is quite common in the middle part of pregnancy. It is quite likely to improve later in the pregnancy, particularly if the head engages. You may find some improvement from doing your pelvic floor exercises.
